Hindu Forum of Britain member temples, samaj buildings and other organisations celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee all across the UK. Below are some glimpses from the excellent and thoughtful celebrations!
On 2nd June, the Queen’s Platinum Jubliee Beacon reception was held by Lord Waldegrave of North Hill at Coutts headquarters, London. Along with many dignitaries associated with the Queen , faith leaders were also invited.

Shiva Trust
Shiva Trust held a elderly jubilee party in Burnley wood area of Burnley for 45 elderly members. A free 3 course meal, a free raffle prize for every one and 6 games of bingo.These were elderly people we had supported for two years during the lockdown. It was a follow on event from a Christmas party we had at Christmas attended by 60 persons. We have another event planned for next Christmas if anyone is interested in sponsoring such an event. Plus we had the animals Jubilee attended by people from Rossendale and surrounding areas.
