It was indeed a privilege to participate in the Reception hosted by the First Sea Lord at HMS Diamond. The esteemed President of the Hindu Forum of Britain (HFB), Shri Jagdish Trivedi, graced the event, accompanied by guests representing the Royal Navy’s Commonwealth Network, including POO & POEng. The occasion was also attended by Her Excellency Nimisha Madhavani from the Government of Uganda and Janahvi from NHSF UK.
The gathering provided a wonderful opportunity to forge new connections, notably with Joanna Valentine from the National Museum of the Royal Navy and Melissa from Capita Training. Additionally, it was a pleasure to reconnect with Lord Jitesh Gadhia.
Highlighting the ongoing collaboration, the Hindu Forum of Britain proudly upholds a covenant with Defence Hindu, regularly extending invitations to officers for the Diwali reception and other festive celebrations. This event further underscores the HFB’s commitment to fostering meaningful relationships and cultural exchange within the broader community.
